Dyslexia Awareness Month

Every October, we celebrate learning differences and dyslexia through Dyslexia Awareness Month. Parent activities, student activities, guest readers and Spirit Week are all part of the festivities. 

The 2023 theme was Focus on Strengths. Each week there are activities and parent involvement opportunities. The last full week of the month is Learning Differences Spirit Week, culminating with Fall Carnival/Trunk or Treat on Thursday. Sign up for activities below.

Experience Dyslexia is an interactive educational evening about learning differences, including dyslexia, processing disorders, and ADHD. You will leave this simulation-based workshop with a heightened awareness of the struggles children with learning differences experience.

This informative presentation will provide an opportunity for our students to shine while participating in a basic group ALT lesson. Your child will be included in a part of the lesson led by our Dyslexia Therapists.
